    The Little Tiger Press Young Writer and Illustrator Awards 2010: This national competition for 5-11 year olds is designed to tie in with Key Stages 1 and 2 of English Writing and Art and Design, and will give children a fantastic opportunity to develop their own stories and artwork inspired by ideas from some of the best-loved Little Tiger Press authors and illustrators.     Snap Story - A snapshot of life, here and now.

    Write a micro-story about Chelmsford (Essex UK), or set in Chelmsford, in just 400 words (one page) Hundreds of pounds of prizes.

    Clearly this is a competition centred around one locality, and entrants must attend the asoociated live-literature event in order to receive a prize BUT ANYONE CAN ENTER.

    Closing date 16th August, 2010. Five age catagories.
